What Clients Have Said
"I've had several session with Kevin now and I want to say how much of a posive experience it has been, We opened with some immediate concerns I had before covering a wider range of topics. Over time this has developed trust and I was able to discuss events that I'm quite guarded about. The whole time kevin has been patient, supportive and has allowed me to go at my own pace. Kevin has offered observations on topics discussed and has put forward questions that have caused me to consider the topics in a new light, offered come context, encouraged me to dig deeper into my thoughts and reasoning, or where needed he has been a sounding board. I can't recommend kevin enough and would encourage anyone considering his service to book a session"
"We think we listen, but very rarely do we listen with real understanding, true empathy. Yet listening, of this very special kind is one of the most potent forces for change i know"
Carl Rogers.

WHY GENTLE WAY
Gentle Way is a direct translation of Judo
The smallest of movement can trigger the Greatest of Insight.
As my Judo developed my understanding of balance and resistance developed.
As my TRUST grew I developed the confidence to trust in other's.
As my anxiety about falling reduced I realised the fall was never as bad as expected, I felt safe to explore and learn.
I began to trust in myself.
My hope with every client is that I can help them to work with what ever has brought them to counselling.
You the client have control over the process. My hope is that together we can build a working relationship where you feel safe.
